About Brugbar

Dear visitors,


Welcome to our small organic micro-bakery/farm shop in Bovense, where we primarily sell sourdough bread and other baked goods, but also other local, organic products.

We opened Brugbar in 2020 with the desire to be able to combine work life and family life in a different way than what is otherwise possible within the restaurant industry. We wanted to create a place where you could buy a good product without having to drive to a major city.
Today, we are open in the farm shop every other Saturday, but bake quite a bit more, which is delivered to cafes, hotels and events in the surrounding area.

2 years ago we bought Bovense's old school, which has been empty for several decades, but which is full of history and possibilities. Next to the bakery, we are therefore undertaking a major renovation project, where we will create other food experiences and opportunities to visit us in the countryside.
We look forward to being able to open this up in the future (see more under the Bovense School tab).
